INCANTATIONS EASTERN EUROPE Scented Candle (Large Model)
This collection of exclusive scented candles was created inspired by incantation texts from different parts of the world. After assembling a large collection of texts, the manufacturer entrusted their interpretation to probably the most famous Lithuanian screen printing artist, M. P. Vilutis.
The incantation texts interpreted by M.P. Vilutis are like a kaleidoscope of magical symbols that adorn the entirely handmade porcelain pots. Each of them is marked with a unique authenticity number, which contains the number of the artwork, the quantity of prints in the edition, and the number of the edition.
The word incantation comes from the Latin incantare, which means "to consecrate by spells, to charm, to bewitch, to bewitch", and is the basis of the word "enchantment". An incantation is a magic formula. The formula can be spoken, sung or chanted.
For this "Eastern Europe" candle, the reference incantation is as follows:
"Sorrow will not be near or far, neither high nor low, neither during the week nor on a feast day, nor under a roof nor under the sky, nor among relatives or strangers.
Sadness and sorrow will avoid me and never approach me. My words remain unshaken forever. Neither magician nor mere mortal can break them. Amen."
